Coherent Capacity Development for Persons with Disabilities Dec 2023
Saaya Independent Living Center organized a 5-day monthly internship program supported by HANDS from December 26-30, 2023. The program covered the months of October, November, and December 2023, focusing on ‘Coherent Capacity Development for Persons with Disabilities.’ One of the main objectives of these sessions was to brainstorm ideas with our participants and raise awareness about understanding disabilities and their consequences. The goal is to empower individuals to move beyond isolation and contribute to personal and communal development.
All active participants were presented with appreciation certificates by Dr. Sarwat Mirza, (Senior Advisor for Health at HANDS, and National Coordinator of the CBID Network) and Ms. Sumera Javed Executive Manager HANDS Pakistan. We are sincerely grateful for the consistent support provided by HANDS Pakistan in encouraging and facilitating these sessions.
