Annual Wheelchair Distribution Ceremony 29th June, 2016.
Saaya Association’s Annual Wheelchair Distribution Brings Joy and Mobility
Saaya Association Islamabad once again held its annual tradition of enriching lives during Ramadan. This year’s wheelchair distribution ceremony, held at the Pak Continental Hotel, Islamabad, marked the continuation of a remarkable commitment that began in 2009.
The ceremony not only provided essential mobility aids, but also spread the spirit of Eid with the distribution of gifts to nearly 100 deserving individuals with disabilities. This heartwarming event transcended geographical boundaries, welcoming participants from various regions across Pakistan, including places like Bhakkar, Peshawar, Bannu, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
The reach of this program underscores the critical need for wheelchair accessibility and Saaya Association’s dedication to addressing it nationwide. Wheelchairs are more than just equipment; they are tools for independence and participation. By receiving these gifts, individuals gain the ability to navigate their daily lives with greater ease, fostering a sense of empowerment and inclusion.
Saaya Association’s unwavering spirit is further amplified by the collaborative nature of this event. The support from generous donors and the active participation of individuals with disabilities from across the country create a powerful synergy.
This annual tradition serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us of the transformative potential of community and collective action. By supporting Saaya Association’s initiatives, we can all contribute to building a more inclusive future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
