Wheelchair Distribution Ceremony, 10th July, 2015 at Islamabad.
Saaya Association Islamabad successfully held its annual wheelchair distribution ceremony at the Pak Continental Hotel, Islamabad. This event, generously supported by Dar-ul-Sakoon (Karachi), marks a continuation of Saaya Association’s remarkable commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities.
Since 2009, the association has made wheelchair distribution a cornerstone of their Ramadan initiatives. This year’s ceremony upheld that tradition, bringing hope and mobility to nearly 100 deserving individuals.
The event transcended geographical boundaries. People with disabilities from various parts of the country, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Bhakkar, Peshawar, and Bannu, participated in the program. This nationwide reach highlights the critical need for such support and Saaya Association’s dedication to addressing it.
The distribution ceremony signifies more than just providing wheelchairs. It represents a step towards a more inclusive society, fostering independence and improving the quality of life for recipients. Saaya Association’s collaboration with Dar-ul-Sakoon further strengthens their mission and expands their impact.
This inspiring event serves as a reminder of the transformative power of community and collaboration. By supporting Saaya Association’s initiatives, we can all contribute to building a future where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
